I would like to take the output of FFT component and present it in a waterfall format. I would like a smooth color progression from 'cold' to 'hot' but the absolute colors do not need to represent anything (like a Black Body) just be acceptable to the eye.

Is there a straight forward way to do this (using D7)?

Thanks........ Jim

Jim,

the simplest way to create a waterfall representation is to draw the planes of spectral lines from background to foreground, adjusting the colors accordingly.

However, we do not offer any out-of-the-box solution....

Regards,

Hans
