I am busy writing a program that has to deal with several maps. The GeoAtlas might be the right tool for this.
But I was thinking if it might be possible to store the maps as blobs in GeoDB in stead of storing the xml and image files of the maps seperatedly.

I wrote some code and it is easy to store the mapimage as BLOB. Like wise it would be possible to store the xml calibration data as well as a BLOB.

But of course it would be much easier if GeoDB would have a function like AddGeomap and ReadGeomap. Or will the resulting code be much slower as GeoAtlas and reading all maps seperatedly from a directory?

The idea to read/write GeoMaps directly and as an entity from/to GeoDB is a good one. I'll go into that during the next weeks (however the current priority is to port the SDL Suite to XE2).

Regards,

Hans
