Dear Support,

I use the function ExportAsASC from my dendro.data, all works fine,
and with this function I have the column Attribut, which is very useful to have information about cluster.

I would like to know if I can have this column with the ExportAsCSV ?
this one is missing ?!

Many thanks for your answer,
Sincerely,
Bruno Mannina

Below my little code, i use:

Code:
procedure TClusteringDendro.btn4Click(Sender: TObject);
begin
  sdDendro.Filter:=_('ASCII File (*.txt)|*.txt');
  If sdDendro.Execute Then
  Begin
    Screen.Cursor := crHourGlass;
    MyDendro.Data.ExportAsASC(sdDendro.FileName, 5);
    Screen.Cursor := crDefault;
  end;
end;

procedure TClusteringDendro.btn5Click(Sender: TObject);
begin
  sdDendro.Filter:=_('CSV File (*.csv)|*.csv');
  If sdDendro.Execute Then
  Begin
    Screen.Cursor := crHourGlass;
    MyDendro.Data.ExportAsCSV(sdDendro.FileName, 5, csvSemicolon, True, True);
    Screen.Cursor := crDefault;
  end;
end;

Dear Bruno,

you are right, the ExportToCSV method does not store the row attributes. This will be fixed with the next release, I've added a corresponding entry in the bugtracking list:

http://www.lohninger.com/bugtracking.html

For the moment there is one (ugly) work-around:

Before exporting, just add another column to the data table of the dendrogram, copy the row attributes into the new empty column, export it as CSV and then remove the extra column.

I know, this is not really elegant, but it should work.

Kind regards,

Hans

Effectively, it could be a solution.

Do you know approximatively when the next release will be available ?

Thanks a lot,
Bruno

The next release will be available most probably in July. However, it depends on how fast we solve the problems with the installer (we are trying to move to the NSIS installer for the next release).

Regards,

Hans
