Good Morning,
I am a studend in Austria and just started writing my Diploma. The task is to built up a numerical model which predicts the working life of a filter unit in a filter plant.
For that i want to analyse lots of data during the hole lifetime of certain filters (ca. 2 a). I tried to do some first visualisations with excel but the program collapses all the time.
My Question is, if datalab is suitable for the analysis of my data? i had in mind to use the multilinear regression methods for the modelling. the data matrix is of the size 300.000 X 5 and more. would that be working or is it inevitable to cut down my data?
Thanks for the answer!
Kind Regards |

I just tested DataLab calculating an MLR model based on a matrix of 10 variables and 300000 observations. Works flawlessly, however with that many data points you have to be a bit patient..... the calculation requires several seconds. _________________ Hans Lohninger
